Gwamnati ta ɗauki matakin rage shan gishiri a Nijeriya

Gwamnatin Tarayya ta ƙudiri aniyar rage kaso 30 cikin 100 na sinadarin gishiri (sodium) a kowane nau’in abincin ɗan fakiti da ake sayarwa a kantuna da wuraren kasuwanci a kasar.
Aminiya ta ruwaito cewa gwamnatin za ta soma aiwatar da wannan shirin ne a bana domin daƙile cutar hawan jini da dangoginta a ƙasar.
Mai bai wa shugaban kasa shawara kan harkokin lafiya kuma jakadiyar manufofin rage gishiri, Dokta Salma Ibrahim Anas, ce ta bayyana haka a wani taron manema labarai da aka gudanar a fadar shugaban kasa yayin bikin Ranar Abinci ta Duniya ta 2025 a Abuja.
A cewarta, wannan matakin na tafiya ne da ƙa’idar Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya (WHO), kuma yana cikin sauye-sauyen da ake aiwatarwa a fannin lafiya ƙarƙashin Shirin Sabunta Fata (Renewed Hope Agenda) na gwamnatin Shugaba Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Gwamnatin Tarayya ta hannun Ma’aikatar Lafiya da Walwalar Jama’a tare da Hukumar NAFDAC ta kammala shirye-shiryen ƙirƙirar dokar rage gishiri a abinci.”
“Sannan kuma akwai dokar da za ta tilasta bayyana duk sinadarai da adadinsu a jikin kowane abinci ɗan fakiti (Front-of-Pack Labelling Framework) domin taimaka wa ‘yan Najeriya wajen yin zaɓin abinci mai lafiya,” in ji ta.
Ta bayyana cewa shan gishiri fiye da kima na daga cikin manyan abubuwan da ke jawo hawan jini, da sauran cututtuka masu nasaba da zuciya a ƙasar.
Dokta Salma ta bayyana cewa sama da kashi 35 cikin 100 na wadanda suka manyanta a Najeriya na fama da hawan jini saboda yawan shan gishiri fiye da ƙa’idar WHO wato gram biyar a rana.
“Rage yawan shan gishiri zai taimaka wajen inganta lafiyar jama’a da rage kuɗin da ake kashewa wajen jinyar cututtukan da za a iya kauce musu,” in ji ta.
Shugaban cibiyar Network for Health Equity and Development (NHED), Dokta Jerome Mafeni, ya ce dokar rage gishiri da tsarin lakabin bayanai na jikin abinci muhimman matakai ne da za su taimaka wajen hana yaduwar cututtuka masu tsanani.
“Wadannan manufofi biyu suna aiki tare — ɗaya yana kayyade yawan gishiri a abinci, ɗayan kuma yana taimaka wa masu amfani da abinci su gane bayanai cikin sauƙi domin su yi zabi mafi kyau,” in ji shi.
Dr. Mafeni ya ce irin waɗannan manufofi a wasu ƙasashe sun taimaka wajen rage yawan shan gishiri da ƙara wayar da kan jama’a kan lafiyayyen abinci.
Ya ƙara da cewa rashin cin abinci mai kyau na rage ƙarfin aiki da ƙara kashe kuɗin jinya a gidaje, don haka rage gishiri ya zama al’amari na ci gaban ƙasa.
Wakiliyar Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya (WHO), Dr. Mya Sapal Ngon, ta ce suna goyon bayan shirin rage ta’ammali da gishiri a Najeriya, tare da tabbatar da ci gaba da taimakawa wajen aiwatar da manufofi da ke inganta lafiyayyen tsarin abinci.
“WHO za ta ci gaba da tallafawa Najeriya wajen aiwatar da dokokin da za su taimaka wajen kare lafiyar jama’a,” in ji ta.
“Haka kuma, kafafen yada labarai na da rawar da za su taka wajen fadakar da jama’a kan illolin shan gishiri fiye da kima da amfanin samun bayanai kan sinadarai a abinci.”
Dokta Anas ta tabbatar da cewa fadar shugaban kasa za ta ci gaba da hada kai da hukumomi da kungiyoyi domin karfafa matakan kare lafiyar jama’a, “kare lafiyar ‘yan Najeriya na nufin kare makomar ƙasa,” in ji ta.
